The Maiden version of this perennial has a beautiful salmon-pink color with a slight olive green stripe at its edge. Where They Do Well

The Maori Maiden does well in high wind areas, offering some shelter from it. They put up with a wide range of temperatures, aside from anything below freezing. This hardy flower has been capturing the admiration of plant lovers around the world for many years due to its stunning array of rainbow-colored petals. It’s an ideal addition to any home garden, as it is capable of thriving in both warm and cool climates.

Maintenance

As its name suggests, these plants feature eye-catching variegated leaves with splattered shades of green, pink and yellow – as if a rainbow settled on each leaf! Not only do they look fantastic among any background but they can even thrive in low light conditions while requiring very little maintenance. They need little to regular watering and can manage in a wide range of sunlight options. Trim out any bits that have lost their color, but other than that, leave them be.
