The client expressed his desire for an asian garden that blends in with nature. We came up with a design centered around a dry creek, emulating flowing water and accentuated by a meandering Silver-Quartzite patio/IPE deck.  We started with excavation, grading and trenching for the dry creek, installing a quartzite path spanning the length of the yard and finally bringing in 5 tons of boulders for placement.  Since the client, as a landscape photographer had an interest in the natural elements of a landscape, he met us at the quarry, taking part in rock selection and even took an active role with boulder placement once back at the job.  We completed the project by building an IPE (ironwood)deck that overlooks the garden, installing plants, irrigation and lighting systems.  A 24″ solid granite lantern accentuates the entire garden.

...I have been dreaming about a Japanese Garden for twenty years. Now that dream has come true thanks to you!
