The clients for this project expressed that they desired a safe and clean area for their 2 young children to play plus an area to entertain. They wanted us to savage the old retaining wall that separates the upper and lower areas in order to keep costs manageable. We started with a clean-up then proceeded to re-enforce and level the existing retaining wall by using re-enforcing mesh and hand troweling a mixture of high-strength mortar to level, plumb, and even all surfaces. Then we veneered all front surfaces with stone and capped it off with black limestone. Two large patios, a pergola/bench, plantings, irrigation, and lighting completed the project.
